Hannah Joy Lowry Has Arrived!

Brooklyn got her first cousin and I am now an Aunt! My older sister Brooke had her baby, April 3rd at 2:30 am. Hannah had some breathing problems so they kept her at the hospital for a full week. Mother, Baby and Dadday are home now though. Click HERE for a link to their blog.

This is the same outfit all 5 girls in my family and I were brought home in! She looks like a Harris in the right top photo. Otherwise, I think she looks all Lowry.

She was seven pounds one ounce, nineteen inches long (3.2 kg, 48 cm). Brooke had her naturally!
Congratulations Brooke and Mike! We cant' wait to meet her!

YAY for Brooke and Mike!! Little Hannah is so beautiful. I'm sure little Brooklyn will love having a girl cousin to play with. Are you guys going to Calgary at all this summer?

Option for a Healthy Birth

I am not typically a big writer on my blog. I usually just post a few dozen photos of my adorable child and make little comments below. Well, I need some sort of outlet for all of my frustrations and thoughts and would love some feedback on them. After extensive research into the process of birth, I know that it is possible for me to have a beautiful, natural birth and the things that that entails really aren't extreme and are in fact proven to be healthier choices for both me and my baby. (For our book group this month, we are reading "Gentle Birth Choices" by Barbara Harper, which is one of several books I have read on the topic and one that I would highly recommend - as well as the documenary ...

So I am finally getting around to catching up on the blog! My excuse for not blogging for months is that life has been insane - don't we all have that excuse though? Here is a brief description of mine though. Blogs to come. October 10th, Trey left for DC and I had a few days to get everything together for 3 weeks away. I decided to bottle a dozen or so bottles of Grapejuice, throw a dinner party etc. But soon we were off. We spent 11 amazing days in DC with our INCREDIBLE friends the Boeys. They were so hospitable and fun! (Adding to the fun and craziness of it all, My Sister Brooke and her family just happened to be there at the same time, and my BYU roommate Sariah and BFF from Childhood Kelly both live there) (SEE BLOG) Straight from D.C., we went to Georgia for 5 days to visit Trey's Grandparents. It was amazing and I will blog soon about that! Spent Halloween there As soon as I got home, my dear companion from Taiwan was in town, so I met up with her and 2 of my oth...
