My Birthday!

I had an incredible birthday today, full of wonderful calls, emails and gifts from my amazing family and friends. Thank you!

Trey got me an awesome gift -a flock of Duck, A flock of Geese and a flock of Chicks to give to families in 3rd world countries! So rather than going to a nice restaurant in Chicago, we're just going to get sandwiches. Neat eh!?? It was such a perfect gift!


Of course I was spoiled by my parents, Ddaddy and the Fridays, so never without lots of gifts as well!
Today I also went berry picking with my new friend here and her little girl. Piper was running around and helping her mom pick green blueberries (; She would also come over and give Brooklyn kisses while she sat so wonderfully in her seat.
We went to a place where we got to pick one bucket and eat as many blueberries as we wanted for $10! It was a great deal, especially with Brooklyn eating about a pound herself! She is my BLUEBERRY BABY!


Our new friends then took care of Brooklyn while we went out for dinner on our own! We went to a nice Italian restaurant in town. It was amazing to be able to eat out with Trey without Brooklyn trying to grab everything off the table!

What a wonder FULL year you are having. When I saw the house I was amazed and full of gratitude. You will love the space. I already yearn to come visit. Especially some time with ya'll and also to see my grandbaby crawl. The football games will be a riot. I pray for Trey to be kept safe and sound. I reserve a plate of his fried chicken once I get there. And the Zoo and Chicago. I won't stay at home next time Dad travels. No way!

Option for a Healthy Birth

I am not typically a big writer on my blog. I usually just post a few dozen photos of my adorable child and make little comments below. Well, I need some sort of outlet for all of my frustrations and thoughts and would love some feedback on them. Washington D.C.

So I am finally getting around to catching up on the blog! My excuse for not blogging for months is that life has been insane - don't we all have that excuse though? Here is a brief description of mine though. Blogs to come. October 10th, Trey left for DC and I had a few days to get everything together for 3 weeks away. I decided to bottle a dozen or so bottles of Grapejuice, throw a dinner party etc. But soon we were off. We spent 11 amazing days in DC with our INCREDIBLE friends the Boeys. They were so hospitable and fun! (Adding to the fun and craziness of it all, My Sister Brooke and her family just happened to be there at the same time, and my BYU roommate Sariah and BFF from Childhood Kelly both live there) (SEE BLOG) Straight from D.C., we went to Georgia for 5 days to visit Trey's Grandparents.
