Our new home!

OK, so I tried making a video of all this, but it won't download, so here are a bunch of photos of our new place.
I still am amazed that we live in such a wonderfully spacious home! We are right near campus and shopping, so we can walk to everything (but church) as well, so it's just perfect!

Our Living Room and dining room
Brooklyn loves the openness of her playroom and crawls all over, then pulls herself up on everything she can. We only have enough furniture to furnish about a quarter of this house(;

Our kitchen with all new appliances

And our basement with a whole other kitchen and our washer and dryer. (It was previously was used as a mother-in-law apartment)

Brooklyn's Bedroom - Our landlord is awesome and Painted her room for us!

Guest Bedroom/Office and our bedroom (B4 Trey arrived - but we still haven't done much more than put the bed in so far.)

3400 square feet, 4 Bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and 2 kitchens (and two car garage) in all, so freinds and family - there's room for visitors!

Love and miss you all.

Oh my gosh I just noticed that I commented from my sister's page. I'm in Tucson and have been using her laptop so she was obviously logged in when I commented, ha. You were probably wondering who the heck the Wilkes were, well it was me!

So I want to know how you can afford a place like that with your husband in school. Please let me know, because my husband is starting school and is looking for a place to live. :)

ps It is good to see you have two kitchens. It will make up for the last year not cooking at all. :)

Option for a Healthy Birth

I am not typically a big writer on my blog. I usually just post a few dozen photos of my adorable child and make little comments below. Well, I need some sort of outlet for all of my frustrations and thoughts and would love some feedback on them. As many of you know, I ended up getting a C-section with Brooklyn after planning on a completely natural birth with the help of Hypnosis. That is a whole nother story, and I wont' go into it, but I learned a lot about the what I want and need to have a healthy delivery. After extensive research into the process of birth, I know that it is possible for me to have a beautiful, natural birth and the things that that entails really aren't extreme and are in fact proven to be healthier choices for both me and my baby. (For our book group this month, we are reading "Gentle Birth Choices" by Barbara Harper, which is one of several books I have read on the topic and one that I would highly recommend - as well as the documenary ...

Washington D.C.

So I am finally getting around to catching up on the blog! My excuse for not blogging for months is that life has been insane - don't we all have that excuse though? Here is a brief description of mine though. Blogs to come. October 10th, Trey left for DC and I had a few days to get everything together for 3 weeks away. I decided to bottle a dozen or so bottles of Grapejuice, throw a dinner party etc. But soon we were off. We spent 11 amazing days in DC with our INCREDIBLE friends the Boeys. They were so hospitable and fun! (Adding to the fun and craziness of it all, My Sister Brooke and her family just happened to be there at the same time, and my BYU roommate Sariah and BFF from Childhood Kelly both live there) (SEE BLOG) Straight from D.C., we went to Georgia for 5 days to visit Trey's Grandparents. It was amazing and I will blog soon about that! Spent Halloween there As soon as I got home, my dear companion from Taiwan was in town, so I met up with her and 2 of my oth...
