My 2 friends and I got together and made these adorable dresses for our girls. Unfortunately we waited until the end of church to take pictures. They were all tired and hungry, so no good photos. The Richardsons even color coordinated for the big day! You can see how the dresses look when they're standing there though. SOoo Cute Eh? Oh, and here's how our family would look if I was had kids 11 months apart like some of my incredibly/crazy friends (; A few days later we had an Easter Egg hunt in our backyard. (More pics to come) Brooklyn and Piper are good friends. They are so cute together. Whenever they see each other (as long as they are in OK moods,)they give each other big hugs. Sunday afternoon, Brooklyn wasn't in such a good mood. Piper was trying to give Brooklyn a hug as usual, but for some reason, Brooklyn thought it was better to run from her. She ran from Piper for about 10 minutes laughing the whole time! It was the funniest thing ever.

Brooklyn got her first cousin and I am now an Aunt! My older sister Brooke had her baby, April 3rd at 2:30 am. Hannah had some breathing problems so they kept her at the hospital for a full week. She looks like a Harris in the right top photo. Otherwise, I think she looks all Lowry. She was seven pounds one ounce, nineteen inches long (3.2 kg, 48 cm). Brooke had her naturally! Congratulations Brooke and Mike! We cant' wait to meet her!

Last weekend my dear friend Leah and I started a great new Tradition! We meet half way in between our homes in Indianapolis for a child free over night-er! She left her 3 kids with her super-man of a husband and I left Brooklyn with my Incredible Man. (Who informed me that they were going to have a blast without me, so not to worry - I didn't) It was so much FUN !! We shared lots of laughs - like when we realized that we booked a hotel which doubles as an active train station . As we were checking in, the person at the desk nonchalantly said to the lady ahead of us, "Just so you know, this is a working train station, so if you feel rumbling or hear the trains in the night, that is why" Just try to imagine the look we gave eachother when we heard that one! This is the view outside our room door: It was still incredibly relaxing and revitalizing as we were able to do a lot of catching up without interruptions every 3 seconds - which is how it always is when ...

Well, since this Blog is about Brooklyn, (All about her), I will start with how she fits in to it. I was totally anxious about leaving her. Weeks and days before I thought about canceling it 'cause I couldn't imagine leave her for 3 full days! As we left her with Judy at the airport, a brief moment of panic hit, I nearly burst into tears, but controlled myself. Judy called soon after and told me she'd fallen asleep and I was completely at ease. An ease that stayed with me the whole trip! (The fact that she was with her beloved Nai Nai who I know would take perfect care of her helped that feeling come more readily!) Actually, by the end I worried I was too at ease! At one point during our trip, Trey turned to me and said "I feel kind of guilty! I don't really miss Brooklyn!" We have just had one of the most action packed spring breaks in History! I have been so excited to blog our adventures! This will have to be a precursor though.
