Osoyoos

I know the last post about Osoyoos made it look like Brooklyn was there all alone - Here is to prove that was NOT the case!

IT WAS FULL OF FAMILY, ACTIVITY AND FUN...

Our Czech Cousin even joined us for a few days!

Fun with Grand and Great Grand-parents!

Memorable Photos like the one on the left "THE JOYS" Dana Joy, Grandpa Joy, Maryjoy and Hannah Joy! Then bottom of the girl's matching outfits from Judy!

And swimming with and Growing Babies! (Our due dates are a day apart! - Late January)

MUCH THANKS TO
My Grandma and Grandpa!

Who have made this possible for every summer of my life!

We are on the road again. We left Osoyoos on Friday and drove to Moscow. Luckily for my emotional state, everyone came down with us (well, almost, Mom, Dad, Brooke, Hannah and Dana!)
We had an incredible 3 days in Moscow together, going to the farmers market, attempting a family bike ride with 2 kids - failed this time, ate delicious food and slept!!! Moscow is actually a really cool place! My sister and her husband just bought a new home there, so it was also fun to see her new place and of course Dana and Mom make their own mark with design and organizational ideas. I stayed out of that conversation for the most part - other than totally agreeing with everything they suggested. (;
Oh, after Moscow, we went to Portland where we visited Brennan and his wonderful family - we had an incredible BBQ dinner out of their garden and Strawberry and Blueberry Shortcake! Brooklyn loved being able to run around with some other kids and the Clark kids loved being able to run around with a dog!
We then came over to BD (Formerly Bingham)'s home and stayed the night there. She just had an perfect little baby girl a month ago!
The next day I drove down to a little children's museum with Brooklyn and met up with Shauna while Dana stayed with BD for the day, we came home hoping Brooklyn would nap but she wouldn't, so we hit the road to go to Shuana's for the night!
Ahh! 20 more hours of driving! We'll make it. Lots of fun so far!

So, I totally frequent your blog--forgive me, but your family is cute, and I think you and your sister (and extended family) are awesome. SO...I will continue to blog-stalk.

I'll be waiting for an Osoyoos post. We drive through there twice a year--going to and from Alaska. I really like it--but we're always dashing through in the early Fall and early Spring--never enough time to stop and play!

Option for a Healthy Birth

I am not typically a big writer on my blog. I usually just post a few dozen photos of my adorable child and make little comments below. Well, I need some sort of outlet for all of my frustrations and thoughts and would love some feedback on them. As many of you know, I ended up getting a C-section with Brooklyn after planning on a completely natural birth with the help of Hypnosis. That is a whole nother story, and I wont' go into it, but I learned a lot about the what I want and need to have a healthy delivery. After extensive research into the process of birth, I know that it is possible for me to have a beautiful, natural birth and the things that that entails really aren't extreme and are in fact proven to be healthier choices for both me and my baby. (For our book group this month, we are reading "Gentle Birth Choices" by Barbara Harper, which is one of several books I have read on the topic and one that I would highly recommend - as well as the documenary ...
