Football

Trey is officially a Collegiate Football player! He has had two games now and is hurting all over. He walks around with a limp complaining about his shoulder for the hour he is home every day. He is actually getting a lot more playing time than he thought he would. He got MVP for the Junior Varsity game on Tuesday - which he didn't even tell me about because he says it's nothing because it's Junior Varsity and not the real team - but I'm impressed! He made two tackles in their game against Concordia on Saturday too! Woo Hoo! They won 34-10
It has rained for all three games, so I haven't gotten many photos but there will be more to come.

One of these times, when it isn't raining, we can't wait to go to a game! GO DUKES!! (I don't know if anyone calls these Crusdaers that, but my high school mascot was a crusader and we called ourselves Dukes. I was a Lady Duke for the softball team!) anyway......

You're officially a groupie! You'll have to make a t-shirt with his picture that says "That's my guy." I bet he's complaining about his shoulder hurting just so you'll give him a massage.
I would love a sling. Adam definately could benefit as he insists on being carried and HAS to be swaddled to be happy. I have a nursing cover now. My address is 3077 Summit Lane, Fultondale, AL 35068. Thank you so much!

Option for a Healthy Birth

I am not typically a big writer on my blog. I usually just post a few dozen photos of my adorable child and make little comments below. Well, I need some sort of outlet for all of my frustrations and thoughts and would love some feedback on them. As many of you know, I ended up getting a C-section with Brooklyn after planning on a completely natural birth with the help of Hypnosis. That is a whole nother story, and I wont' go into it, but I learned a lot about the what I want and need to have a healthy delivery. After extensive research into the process of birth, I know that it is possible for me to have a beautiful, natural birth and the things that that entails really aren't extreme and are in fact proven to be healthier choices for both me and my baby. (For our book group this month, we are reading "Gentle Birth Choices" by Barbara Harper, which is one of several books I have read on the topic and one that I would highly recommend - as well as the documenary ...

Washington D.C.

So I am finally getting around to catching up on the blog! My excuse for not blogging for months is that life has been insane - don't we all have that excuse though? Here is a brief description of mine though. Blogs to come. October 10th, Trey left for DC and I had a few days to get everything together for 3 weeks away. I decided to bottle a dozen or so bottles of Grapejuice, throw a dinner party etc. But soon we were off. We spent 11 amazing days in DC with our INCREDIBLE friends the Boeys. They were so hospitable and fun! (Adding to the fun and craziness of it all, My Sister Brooke and her family just happened to be there at the same time, and my BYU roommate Sariah and BFF from Childhood Kelly both live there) (SEE BLOG) Straight from D.C., we went to Georgia for 5 days to visit Trey's Grandparents. It was amazing and I will blog soon about that! Spent Halloween there As soon as I got home, my dear companion from Taiwan was in town, so I met up with her and 2 of my oth...
